I finally got 5 free HD-DVD movies.

I bought my Toshiba HD-A3 Player from Amazon last year and sent out the form to get 5 free HD-DVDs. I waited and waited and when I heard HD-DVD lost the war to Blu-ray. I didn't think I have a change to get 5 free HD-DVDs. But today it was a big surprice for me because my 5 free HD-DVD movies came in my mailbox. I finally got them after waiting in 14 weeks. I also got 3 HD-DVD movies from Amazon, a big box from Rightstuf and a lof of DVD movies that I bought from Bestbuy.Circuitcity and Suncoast.


Target has a BOGO on Bluray so I went and bought The Simpson and Live Free or Die Hard. The first 2 Blu-ray movies I bought after it wins.

The Hunt for cheap HD-DVD - Apolo Justice

The hunt for cheap HD-DVDs is not going down for me. With 3 more HD-DVD movies from Amazon coming to my mailbox and 6 HD movies I bought from Circuitcity for $9.04/each after got 110% price match with Bestbuy today, my HD-DVD collection is sitll growing strong(from 29 HD-DVD movies to 58 in only 1 month).



Although I already have The Mummy Collector's Set on DVD but it was worth $9.04x2 to buy them on HD-DVD so I didn't hesitate to pick up The Mummy and The Mummy Returns because they are one of my favorite movies. I remember I watched the first Mummy movie on VCD when I was in my VN.

Thanks to " Trade-in 2 Xbox 360,Wii,PS3 games to get $10 bonus credit" promotion at Gamestop/Ebgames, I could get $31.55 for trading-in 4 crappy Xbox 360 games : RR6,The Outfit,X-Men and Arcade Vol.1. With that credit, I bought Apolo Justice NDS for $29.99 and still have $1.56 left.Yeah,the first game I bought in this month. I also got 101 Dalmatians PH and the plush from BB.




I finally completed my School Rumble anime. Watched the volume 6 yesterday although it was not funny like other volume but it's still good. I hope Funi will bring more School Rumble to America.

A Month of Anime and HD-DVDs

Since HD-DVD lost the war to Blu-ray, the HD-DVD movies becomes cheaper and cheaper. I am very happy to pay around $10 for a HD-DVD movie and I bought a lot of them with that price at Amazon,Bestbuy,Circuitcity. This is the month of HD-DVD.



Got Top Gun, Sleepy Hollow, Sky Captain an the World of Tomorrow, U-517, Traffic, Spartacus, Elizabeth, Apolo 13, White Noise,Lucky#Slevin and I still have 6 HD-DVDs that put on backorder from Amazon.

Instead of buying video games, I keep focusing on Anime DVDs right now. I don't buy a singe game yet in this month although I have a few games that I wanna play: Dynasty Warriors 6, Apolo Justice are my priority. It'ok, I can wait.... for price drop. Here is Anime DVDs which I got in last week.

My wallet hurts so badly in this month. I purchased 2 Canon Camera and 3 SD-Card 2GB about $400 for 2 weddings of my friends. That is not a bad gift to give them.



I also got some Horror movies. Final Destination series is very good, I didn't know that before. Home Alone is still very funny movie(got it to replace my old VHS). Some Godzilla movies and a 50 CD-R to burn some songs that I download from Internet to listen on my car.

Tsubasa

It's not easy to remember what Anime DVDs I have and don't have. I made a mistake about Tsubasa vol.2. I bought it on sale from Bestbuy 2 days ago and when I checked my Tsubasa Started Box Set, I found out that I already have Vol.2 for a long time. I'll return the copy at BB tomorrow. Luckily I don't open it yet.



Today I got Dragon Wars BD which was free from Sony B2G1 deal and got The Contract HD-DVD for only $9.09. Rightstuf finally sent me a copy of Haruhi vol.4 LE after waiting in 1 month. Viva Pinata Party Animal DotD on Amazon for $9.99
