Back from the RED R.

After 22 days waiting, I finally got my Xbox 360 back from Microsoft. It's still the Core version and it doesn't have HDMI output. Its manufacture date was 12-21-06(my old one was 12-21-05). It means no Falcon chip. I turned it on,changed the HDD from my Jp Xbox 360,put the game in and it runs very noisy but al least it works so I can play NA Xbox 360 games. Mic also sent me a free 1 Month Xbox Live Gold card and an apology letter.



I got 2 Atlus games :Persona 3 FES and Arcana Heart from Amazon for $4.98 after $50 HD-DVD Gift Card plus $5 off coupon and some games clearance at Target.

I went to work today after 5 days off but my mind was not in "working mood" so I asked my boss to let me go home early and he agreed. I drove the car to Target to buy some foods and I found some video game accessories with cheap price:Logitech Mediaboard Pro Bluetooth (PS3) for $19.99, a L.Vantage USB Microphone(PS3/PS2) for $7.98, a HDMI 6ft. cable for $9.99, a Logitech Wireless Xbox Controller for $9.99. I bought them all with 2x$5off$25 coupon. Great deal and price. Ebgames/Gamestop has Sega Tennis(PS2/Xbox 360/PS3/Wii versions) for only $19.99. Instead of going to Gamestop to buy that game, I drove to Circuitcity,While I was finding the game , I noticed the electronic department has a lot of used items on sale. And luckily for me, I found a used Toshiba HD-DVD A20 Standard Player (1080p) for $59.99 and a new Xbox 360 HD-DVD Add-on for $35. I got both of them and also had the Sega Tennis for $16.99 after a price match. A big love for Circuitcity.

--After buying 2 HD-DVD Players from Circuitcity, I have 4 of them right now. The HD-DVD A20 doesn't come with box/manual/power cord and when I asked for remote, the guy brought me the remote as same as the HD-A3.he aslo gave me a universal power cord. Oh well, it is not a bad deal when this player which does 1080p(the HD-DVD A3 Player only does 720p/1080i) cost me only $59.99. --

Walmart was my final destination today and I bought a 3-Drawer Wide Cart. I can use it for storing all my manga and strategy guides. It is better than laying them out on the floor.

An AnimeBirthDay

Today is big day for me. It's my birthday. My boss already gives me 5 days off in this week so I only work on Friday and Saturday. That means I have a lot of free time to watch anime,movies.... My birthday is just like normal day. I planned to stay at home today but I remembered I could get 20% off for all purchases at Suncoast and they are having a big "Funi-Gen" BOGO sale so I drove to my local Suncoast and bought every Anime that I need to have for completing my Anime series. Bestbuy also has some Funi anime on sale from $9.99 to $17.99/each.

I bought 42 Anime DVDs today and they cost me over $500. My big Anime DVDs purchase ever I bought in 1 day.

I also got email from Microsoft Repair Center. According to the UPS tracking number, I'll have my US Xbox 360 back on April,28. I can't wait to get it back because I VERY need it to play Blue Dragon(just got the guide from a CAG).

I watched The Story of Saiunkoku Vol.1 and I like it very much. The OP song is so awesome and the anime has so many handsome boys.I'm still holding out some hope that another company will pick up unreleased Geneon volumns because I hate to rely on fansubs.

Upgraded my PS3 to FW 2.30

1st step: Send the Xbox 360 back to MS.

I waited 3 days and got prepaid return box for my Xbox 360 today. Now,it's time to put my Xbox 360 in and bring it to UPS(need to find where my local UPS is because this is 1st time to use UPS, I only use USPS to ship my items). Oh well, I am very happy so far........

I don't know what to do with these guides. I got them from BB for only $0.01/each

I call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX about my dead Xbox 360 on Sunday and after 12 minutes talking with the Indian guy(I forgot his name), he said they will send me a box to send the Xbox back to them for reparing or exchange the new one(I hope I will get a HDMI one). I'll wait and see. Right now, I still use my Jp Xbox 360 to play Super Robot Taisen XO and Bomberman Live. My Xbox Live Gold Membership will expire in next month,I think I'll get a 1 free month card for my dead US Xbox 360.

I got my paycheck today and it means "more shopping". This time is for PSP love. went to Ebgames/Gamestop today and bought some NIS games,Dynasty & Samurai Warriors games to expend my series collection....for cheap price with using coupons plus Edge Card.

I still miss some great games on PSP that I don't have yet like Disgaea,God of War CoO,Wild Arm XF,Tales of the World......

$50 Gift Card from Bestbuy for who bought HD-DVD Player,HD-DVD Add-On and I got it today for buying a Xbox 360 HD-DVD Add-on. A full-set of DN Angel manga came to my mailbox which I bought on Ebay and for anime I got Kanon Vol.2 Art Box which is so beautiful.

The Red Ring of Death

Last month, I didn't use US Xbox 360 to play any games because I use my Jp Xbox 360 to play Super Robot Taisen XO and Trusty Bell. Today, when I turn on my US Xbox 360, the 3 red lights appears and i know that it finally is dead after working in 2 years. In my head right now, I am thinking about 3 options to choose:

1. Send it back to Microsoft to get repair
2. Buy a new one with HDMI output
3. Quit buying Xbox 360 and sell them on Ebay.

I still have time to think. I remembered my first original Xbox was dead after 6 months I bought it and I had to buy a new one to play Ninja Gaiden. It still works so far.

Another Haul

Last month was a "big month" for me. I spent so much money on Anime DVDs,Video Games,Movies and after paying car insurance bill, I only have $58.90 left in my bank account but there are so many deals that I can not close my wallet. In this week, Bestbuy has 50% off for some Anime Boxset, Circuitcity has 50% off on HD-DVD movies and 33% off on video games clearance. I did go there and kept spending money on them. (Yup,it's time to use credit card)



Got Dragon Ball Z Season 4, Neon Genesis Envangelion Thinpak, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Robotech(last one), Noein Boxset at BB. I also bought some HD-DVD movies that I need to have at CC and Amazon. Finally, I have all 3 Bourne movies on HD.


Luckily, I found 2 copies of Odin Sphere,Dawn of Mana,Boogie,Metroid Hunter, EarthDefender 2017,Star Fox Command,Naruto at CC for cheap price. Thanks to Ebgames/Gamestop " 25% off on used PS2/GC/Xbox games"coupon in this week, I bought a lot of used games and DVD movies(B2G2F)

I also got a new Wireless Mouse that is on sale at BB for $19.99. It's the Kensington one. This is the 3rd wireless mouse I have. The Diablo Wireless Mouse is useless. When I use it, it drains batteries very quickly and in 1 week, I have to change batteries twice.Sometimes, it has signal lost and I have to unplug then plug it again to make sure it has signal. The Logitech mouse is very good so far and I love it. This one is for my desktop and the new Kensington mouse is for my laptop(I hate to use touchpad). Love the red color.

I sold Shakugan no Shana Vol.4 for $100 on Ebay(I don't know this DVD is so rare and some buyers bid like crazy) and other Geneon anime DVDs were around $35-$50/each. It's time to ship every Geneon Anime DVDs I bought.
